Imagine this.... It's Halloween. You've decided to have a nice quiet night at home, perhaps just watching some scary movies and listening to music. You head to an old record shop on the other side of town looking for something random and unusual to experience for the night. You find a dusty old record in the bargain bin from an artist you've never heard of. You ask the clerk about it and he describes the sound as "spooky groove metal". You decide to check it out. You get home, pour yourself a drink and put on the record. It turns out to be exactly what you needed to hear. You head back to the record shop the next day, wanting to see if the clerk knows anything more about the artist. He isn't there and the person who is there knows nothing about Final Gate. When you describe the clerk you talked to before to ask when he will return, he says "the person you described sounds like Glen, but he doesn't work here anymore. He died 3 years ago." He goes on to say that Glen collected some old records in a locker in the back room, but he doesn't know what happened to them........ spooky spooky! Seriously though, it takes a lot of time and hard work to produce content like this and when you are a small time independent artist, it's a labor of love. I'll take any show of support I can get - like, comment, subscribe, share, look me up on your favorite streaming platforms.. anything. Also, if you dig the vocals be sure to check out @STARSE3D. She's another hard-working artist with plenty of original content.
