A shuttle bus burst into flames at a Chevron gas station in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood on the afternoon of Monday, February 29, sending plumes of black smoke throughout the area.
This footage, taken by a San Francisco resident, shows a close view of the fire and a glimpse of the smoke rising above South of Market.
According to reports from the SF Examiner, the driver of the Transmetro bus pulled into the gas station after noticing that his vehicle was overheating. The bus, fueled by liquid petroleum gas, caught fire at around 2:30 pm. Fire fighters contained the blaze within half an hour with one firefighter suffering a minor injury. Credit: Youtube/Larry Davis
