Robert Cosme came across this trap on a beach in Costa Rica in 2009. Cosme says that he saw some kids gathered around the trap and so checked it out. When he realised what the trap was doing he took out his camera to record. He confirmed in the video description that once the tide came in the crabs were released from the trap.
