Denver moves to 2-0 on the year with the 34-20 home victory to the Indianapolis Colts as a -6 point wagering favorite. The game total went over 47 points. Denver broke open the game with two defensive touchdowns off Colts turnovers. They limited Indy to 253 yards of offense with only 170 yards passing with five sacks. Quarterback Trevor Siemian hit on 22 of 33 passes for 266 yards with a pick. Siemian engineered only one touchdown in four red zone drives. The run game produced 134 yards for the Broncos
Cincinnati fell to 1-1 with the 24-16 road defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers as a +3 point wagering underdog. The total went under 48 points. The Bengals couldn’t take advantage of their red zone chances going 0 of 3 while the Steelers go 2 for 2. Their run game stalled so Andy Dalton move the football through the air going 31 of 54 for 366 yards with a touchdown. On defense Cincinnati allowed 374 yards to the Pittsburgh offense with 259 yards passing with three touchdown throws and two picks to Ben Roethlisberger. The turnover margin was equal as Cincinnati lost two fumbles.
