Drone footage captured a great white shark swimming close to a busy beach in Truro, Massachusetts, on August 24, prompting the beach’s closure.
Brendan Buckley unsuspectingly shot the footage in the evening while out at Head of the Meadow Beach. He estimated that the shark was 60 feet from the shore of the beach, which was closed for about two hours after he showed the aerial footage to the lifeguards on duty.
