'We can't control crowds in Malaysia' - KJ explains strict SOPs during Malacca polls

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin explained that the tight standard operating procedures (SOPs) against Covid-19 introduced during the Malacca state election campaign period was to avoid an outbreak.

He denied that the strict SOPs were put in place to weaken Umno.

Khairy stressed that public health was his priority as the health minister.
