The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has frozen 25 bank accounts as part of its investigation into construction projects valued at approximately RM250mil in Sarawak, says its Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki.
Speaking to reporters on Monday (Dec 9), Azam disclosed that 21 individuals have been summoned to provide statements following the arrest of a senior civil servant and a company director with the title “Datuk.”
He added that the exact amount of money involved in the case has yet to be determined.
