Johor police have identified 49 hotspots for traffic congestion, including the two land checkpoints with Singapore, ahead of the Chinese New Year celebrations.
State police chief Comm Datuk M. Kumar shared after attending a road safety programme at the Kempas toll (northbound) on the North-South Expressway on Monday (Jan 27) that authorities anticipate a 10% to 15% surge in vehicle numbers on major roads and highways in Johor during the festive season.
